Terms of Service
The short version: be 16 or older, use Consiliae to learn, don't abuse it, and cancel any time.
Who can use Consiliae
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account during public beta. If the law where you live sets a higher minimum age for consenting to online services, that higher age applies. By creating an account you confirm you meet this requirement; we ask your date of birth at signup to check it.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for activity on your account. Give us a working email address: it is how you sign in and how we reach you about your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Acceptable use
Consiliae is a learning platform. Don’t attempt to disrupt the service, access other people’s data, scrape content at scale, resell access, or use the platform to distribute anything unlawful. Feedback and scholar reports must be your own honest work.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. You can cancel any time from your settings; access continues to the end of the paid period. Prices may change with notice before your next renewal. Statutory refund rights in your country are unaffected.
Content and ownership
The curriculum, knowledge map, and platform are ours or our licensors’. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own learning. Your learning record is about you: see the Privacy Policy for how it is handled and how to take it with you or delete it.
Service and liability
Consiliae is in beta: we work hard to keep it available and correct, but the service is provided “as is” without warranties, and features may change. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before a claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending things
You can delete your account whenever you like by emailing hello@consiliae.com. We may terminate accounts for breach of these terms, with notice where practicable.
Changes and contact
If we change these terms materially we will notify account holders by email before the change takes effect. Questions: hello@consiliae.com.
If a clause here reads as unfair, tell us. We would rather rewrite it than rely on nobody reading it.
